Nope, I did not misunderstood you. Instead, you are repeating your actions in justifying interpretations based on cultural and traditional aspects of religious texts, as I had mentioned in my first comment. And again you do not give passages that seemingly condemn homosexuality the same equal treatment.

And thanks to you, we also now know just how at odds Paul’s words and Jesus’ words are. And by the way, nope. Paul said nothing about homosexuality. It is you who do not wish to check and gather your knowledge into the history of pagan worship and male prostitution of that era. It is you who do not wish to accept that prior to 1949, the word “homosexual” and its variations did not exist in any Bible translations. It is you who insist: “These are not not merely traditions and cultural aspects, not something I pick and choose to say but what the bible says.”, cherry picking perceived verses condemning homos.

I am a straight mathematics student. 75+75+50-100=100%.
The various percentages merely means I am still searching. I do not have devided personalities. The minus 100% for Christianity means it has turned me off so much by the Christians I have met in my life. If I have to list the top 100 evil people I have met or known of, more than 80% are Christians. Certainly the top 10 are all Christians. This is my honest opinion.

I am a simple man who lives with simple logic. I have read many accusations of pastors/priest molesting and sodomising young boys. I am told the bible condemns homosexuality. Does that mean that homosexuality taint with paedophilia is ok by the bible? Bible tells us we are all children of Adam and Eve (I hope not frm monkeys). They had 33 children that eventually multiplied to 6 billions today. Isn’t this incest? The first prophet Ibrahim had sex with his maid, produced a child and then abandoned mother and child. He also tried to kill one of his chidren. I dont know which child as there are conflicting accounts depending on which book you read. Some books even tells that his wife was his half sister (is it true?). If that is the behavior of a prophet, then Rony Tan is a saint. That is why I am at the moment 75% Atheist, 75% Buddhist, 50% Muslim and minus 100% christian.
